Didn't plan it before, but decided to do it after a recommendation.
We were happy we did it, more than expectation.
Paid EUR 59 per person, at the amethyst shop in Luosto center in front of the big hotel LuostoTunturi.
We got on a Pendolino, like a snow truck, to go the the mine. After good explanation about the stone and the mine, we dug finding our stones in the mine. During the explanation, the staff said we only were allowed to bring one stone than could be hidden in our palm, but there was no check in the end.
